In 2023, we were proud to open Folkestone’s first 400m athletics track. Funded by the Roger De Haan Charitable Trust, with support from community fundraising and crowdfunding, this new high-class facility is a much-needed addition to the sporting landscape of this town. 

 While the track will be home to Folkestone Athletics & Running Club, it is 100% a facility for the wider community to use. 

• 400m eight asphalt lane track
• 2 x 100m straights
• Facilities for field events, including long jump, high jump, javelin, shot put and pole vault.

Whether you’re a seasoned sports star or a beginner runner, our athletics track is open to everybody for just £6 for a two hour session.
